2024 BOATING SEASON INFORMATION

For the 2024 season, there will be NO boat slips available for renting. There will be a separate pier for you to park at after launching if you need to run home or are picking up friends or family. This pier will be accessible 24/7. If you leave your boat at this pier overnight, it is at your own peril and the Parks Association nor the Wonderview Improvement Association will be responsible for damage or theft.

Every April 15th, the lock will be changed. To obtain a key, you must be a property owner of Wonderview, Sunny Oaks or Green Hill Shores and your HOA dues must be current. Starting in 2024, the key cost will now be $35.00. Renters are not allowed to purchase a boat launch ramp key, property owners only.

To obtain a key, please contact Parks Chairman Mike Brooks at 847-456-0754. Availability is limited to Monday thru Friday 3pm to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am to 2pm.

Upon contacting the key contact person, they will verify due status with your subdivision treasurer. Once your eligibility is established, he will contact you to setup a meeting at the park to exchange information and receive your payment. Photo identification will be required when meeting. Plan accordingly, there may be a slight delay receiving a response from your subdivision treasurer when verifying due status. Keys are usually issued within 24 hours upon contact.

The 2 subdivisions co-manage the beachfront property and the Wonderview Parks Association is the deeded property owner. All decisions for the park are decided by the 8 members with some input from the subdivisions that appoint them.
